I have just returned from a vacation to discover my home state of Texas in bloom with wildflowers, shaded by verdant trees, covered in waving green grasses, and flowing with stream waters. For the five years that I have lived here, Texans have been praying for rain, for an end to a drought that has caused entire lakes to dry up and extreme water rationing in our cities. While the lakes are still not to normal water levels, the land looks refreshed and periods of rain are still in the weather forecast. God is blessing us with such encouragement this spring, it makes me so happy to see the lushness around me that I just want to go lie down in the grass and make "grass angels!"
Hi! My name is Vickie Lutz. I am a retired teacher living in north Texas. Last year, I embarked on a new adventure and wrote 2 books about note taking methods that I learned as a teacher. The books explain how to use these note-taking methods to record what you learned about God and heard from God during sermons or Bible lessons. This year I am continuing my new adventure with a blog!
