A story found in Matthew 9:20-22 really touched me this week. The story is about a poor woman who had been hemorrhaging for 12 years. Too afraid to speak to Jesus about such a problem and being ceremonially unclean, she just touched the hem of his garment as he walked past her. This tells me that no matter what the problem, however unpleasant, you can take it to Jesus for an answer. He sees and knows even the hidden pain. Notice, too, that although the woman had suffered from this problem for 12 years, Jesus was still able to heal her. Time is unimportant to Him! When Jesus felt her touch, he turned and addressed her as “daughter.” How good it is to be adopted into the family of God!
Hi! My name is Vickie Lutz. I am a retired teacher living in north Texas. Last year, I embarked on a new adventure and wrote 2 books about note taking methods that I learned as a teacher. The books explain how to use these note-taking methods to record what you learned about God and heard from God during sermons or Bible lessons. This year I am continuing my new adventure with a blog!
