I have a graduation to celebrate. It is always so exciting when a young person, who you remember as a toddler, fulfills their educational ambition and graduates! Graduation is exciting, too, because the graduates are so filled with dreams that their faces shine and their eyes glow. I want my graduate to remember times past, but to also know that I am encouraging him to pursue that dream. Here is what I plan to do: I am buying him a copy of the Dr. Seuss book, Oh, the Places You'll Go!. This is a book that children read in the early school years, so it will be a nostalgic and memorable gift because I am having his former teachers, family, and church friends sign it. Seniors have school yearbooks and memorabilia from school events and friends, but they need to know that other important people in their lives care about them and their future.
Hi! My name is Vickie Lutz. I am a retired teacher living in north Texas. Last year, I embarked on a new adventure and wrote 2 books about note taking methods that I learned as a teacher. The books explain how to use these note-taking methods to record what you learned about God and heard from God during sermons or Bible lessons. This year I am continuing my new adventure with a blog!
